The kids of GSK

April 26th was National Take Your Child to Work Day and GSK sites across the US opened their doors to kids of GSK. While we were at it, we also opened some windows to future careers in science, social media, health and nutrition, and even robot manufacturing!

Across US sites in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, and New Jersey – April 26th was not the average school day for kids, 2nd through 8th grade, whose parents work at GSK.

As our doors opened on Thursday morning, we welcomed more than 500 kids to our offices in Warren, Raleigh, Upper Merion, Rockville and the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

The day consisted of:

Kids learning about the importance of being self-aware of their health.

Even though the kids missed a day of school – we hope they ended their day feeling like they learned something new.
