Doing more on Moore Drive in the Research Triangle Park

At 5 Moore Drive in the Research Triangle Park, we have more than 1800 employees who are delivering on our special purpose to help people do more, feel better, and live longer.

Our community partnership efforts in the state span organizations that help to improve community health and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education.

Our campus is at the intersection of Raleigh, Durham in the Research Triangle Park (RTP).  Here, we are one of two corporate hubs in the US – our other is in Philadelphia – and we are home to US sales and marketing, administrative, and corporate functions.

The site is also the US headquarters for ViiV Healthcare, an independent, global company focused on finding new medicines to treat people living with HIV and understanding how best to treat and prevent the disease. ViiV Healthcare was formed in 2009 through a unique partnership between GSK and Pfizer. The company now combines the HIV expertise of GSK, Pfizer and Shionogi.

Our heritage in North Carolina runs deep, as does our commitment to the state. It’s a commitment that is tied not only to work on campus but to the purpose we strive for every day.”

Find out why Anne left Raleigh to climb 16k feet in Kenya

Earlier this year, Anne found herself sitting in a small rural village in Africa, listening to a mother share the story of how she contemplated giving up on her newborn baby who was born 3 months premature, weighing less than 4 pounds. With no access to healthcare and no knowledge about how to properly care for a newborn baby in need, the Kenyan mother shared how she considered completely giving up.

Fostering wellness in Wake, Durham and Orange counties

MLK Day: A different kind of day off

To honor the life of Dr. King and keep his legacy of respect, tolerance, inclusion and service to others at the forefront of the holiday, our African American Alliance (AAA) Employee Resource Group commemorated the day by making Martin Luther King Day a ‘Day On’ through engaging in a series of service projects with local community partners.

The kids of GSK

April 26th was National Take Your Child to Work Day and GSK sites across the US opened their doors to kids of GSK. While we were at it, we also opened some windows to future careers in science, social media, health and nutrition, and even robot manufacturing!
